Next Leader Meeting

The next Leader Meeting is on Thursday, December 17 at Century Middle School from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

 

Child Care will be available, please email Sherri Schaible, sschaib@charter.net if you will be bringing your children.

 

Cookie Dance Registrations can be turned in during this meeting.

Bronze/Silver/Gold Award Packets - Now Available

The new 2010 requirements are now available.

Please note: all those who complete one pre-req. by December 31st can still utilize the 2009 requirements.

Leader Meetings

Skateville:  Lost Sweatshirt

During the first session at Skateville, a sweatshirt was lost.  It was left in the carpeted area.  If you have an extra sweatshirt in your closet, please contact Lisa Reid at tnlreid@frontiernet.net.

 

Leader Meeting Opening/Closing Ceremonies 

Volunteers are needed to perform opening/closing ceremonies at each Leader meeting, please contact Sherri Schaible, sschaib@charter.net to sign up.  This would be a perfect opportunity for Leaders with daughters providing childcare to work together!

 

World Thinking Day

World Thinking Day is Saturday, February 20th.  Participating troops are encouraged to present a skit, song, poem, story, pictures, or something that gives a representation of the country they are presenting.  More information and registration forms will be available soon.  Watch the Events page for updates.

Badge In A Bag

Junior Troop 24506 is working on their Bronze badge by offering several Brownie "Badges In A Bag", visits to your troop from "Juliette Gordon Low", and Girl Scout Promise bracelets.  Click here to view details on all of these exciting time savers for your troop!

Program Aides

Tracking Program Aides 

If you have girls in your troop that have been trained as a Program Aid please contact Catherine Esades at cesades@frontiernet.net.  Catherine is the older girl liaison and is working to develop a comprehensive list of Program Aides.  Please include the Girl Scouts name, where she was trained, and if she has a day camp emphasis.

 

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many volunteer opportunities for Program Aides to participate in events and with younger troops this year.  If you have girls in your troop who have trained as Program Aides and are interested in participating in these events, or if you have a troop of younger girls and would like to recruit a PA for help contact Catherine at cesades@frontiernet.net.

Program Essentials

Room Reservations

If you are looking to hold your meetings at a school facility in Lakeville you will need to work with Community Ed to schedule a room.  There is a facility usage request form on their website that needs to be completed and approved by Nancy Skaro.  Their website is  http://www.ce.isd194.k12.mn.us/
